July 8, 2025: The big day! The debut novel launched worldwide and hit Amazon #1 Best Seller status within 24 hours in two of its three categories. And it’s still at #1 three days later! If you bought a copy of the book and are reading this…‘thank you!‘.
May 8, 2025: Well, I did my first ever talk, face-to-face with a live audience, as an author, at the Stratford Literary Festival. And what a joy! The book was brilliantly received by a small and friendly audience. I’m grateful to the festival’s organisers for giving me the opportunity. I met fellow authors at different stages in their careers and shared the backstory to my own debut, The Otero County Disclosure. Oh, and I met an MI6 spy… check out my June newsletter to read more.
March 28, 2025: The Otero County Disclosure is now on Amazon Kindle pre-order for a publication date of 8 July (Roswell’s anniversary). Further formats and dates (and prices) to follow…
February 23, 2025: I’m thrilled to say I’ll be talking about my debut novel, The Otero County Disclosure, at this year’s Stratford Literary Festival (8-9 May, 2025), the hometown of Shakespeare! There’s a host of well-known authors, writers, broadcasters and celebrities speaking over the three days. You can check the full calendar of events, here.
I’ll be speaking at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, on Thursday, 8 May, at 7,30pm. You can click the link above to find and buy tickets for any of the many talks, events and workshops taking place.

February 3, 2025: I finally launched this website last week and the initial raft of blog posts are being fired off into the world. Hueyhawke.com is the first step to growing my writerly/authorly presence online, ahead of The Otero County Disclosure launching, hopefully this coming June or July (2025).
